Equally at home in a data-center rack or on a desk next to the office server the 1/8 Tape Autoloader is equipped with either an Ultrium 460 drive Ultrium 230 drive or a DLT VS 80 drive and can house up to eight cartridges. The autoloader can be used for both direct attach backup to a single server locally or across a LAN. The Ultrium versions are an ideal consolidated backup solution for multiple servers where high throughput and high capacity are required. For users who have less stringent capacity and throughput requirements the DLT VS 80 version is recommended.
