Automatic Server Recovery 2 (ASR-2) server health logging and Compaq's Pre-Failure Warranty on the processors Hard Drives and memory assure you of maximum uptime and minimum hassle. This 7U rack model is configured with a 2.0GHz Intel Xeon processor (upgradeable to four) a 1MB integrated L3 cache integrated dual-channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI controller and 1024MB PC100 ECC SDRAM (upgradeable to 16GB). Since there is no pre-installed Hard Drive you are free to configure storage to your needs. In addition to a 400MHz bus speed the ML 570 features a CD-ROM drive a 3.5 1.44MB floppy drive 12 hot-plug Hard Drive bays one 5.25 removeable media bay for tape or optical drives and seven PCI slots (four hot plug). For your networking needs a Compaq NC3163 Fast Ethernet NIC (10/100Mbps with WOL) is built-in. The integrated ATI RAGE IIC graphics controller uses 8MB SDRAM video memory to support resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 in 16.7 million colors. Continuous cooling is provided by redundant hot-plug fans. Intelligent Manageability features include Remote Insight Lights Out Edition support offline backup processor capability dynamic sector repair and much more.
