ProLiant BL10e server blades are housed in the 3U high ProLiant BL e-Class server blade enclosure. The server blades plug into the enclosure for power and network connections. Each rack-mountable server blade enclosure has twenty server blade bays in the front and an interconnect tray bay in the back for one of three interconnect tray options. Up to fourteen server blade enclosure can fit in a 42U rack. The server blade enclosure features redundant hot-plug power supplies and redundant hot-plug cooling fans adding significant availability features at the front-end tier of the DISA architecture. Each ProLiant BL e-Class server blade enclosure requires an interconnect tray for routing network cables. The interconnect tray plugs into the rear of the server blade enclosure and is used to route network connections from the server blades out the back of the enclosure. Each interconnect tray includes the Integrated Administrator module for centralized server blade and enclosure monitoring and management.
